Lekki Conservation Center

Hi guys ….

I hope that you are doing well… ??  Thought this week I would have something fun on the blog for you.

Last weekend I decided that I need to get some fresh air. (Like for real if stayed in  my house for one more min I would kill somebody).  My friend & I decided that we should go out. Then the next question was obviously where would we go ?? Since I haven’t lived in Lagos for the past 5 years. I didn’t have the answer to that question.

Me being me said that I would think of something and get back to him. Since I really didn’t know what I was talking about. I did the only logical thing any girl in my position would do I googled “Things to so in Lagos” LOL.  Among many other things

“Lekki Conservation center”

came up. It had some good reviews so I decide that we were going to check it out. I can proudly say…best decision ever !! It was so much fun that I had to blog about it. They say love is sharing . (So I am sharing because I love you all)

Let me show you some of the things we got up to.

My favorite thing  was the canopy walk above the conservation … you have to try it the view from the top is everything  (P.S it is the longest in Africa)

The  view is everything

It costs  N 1000 to get into the conservation center + another N 1ooo to go on the canopy walk.  If you can’t afford to do the canopy walk. You can just walk through the conservation. Honestly, it is so peaceful that you forget that  you are in  Lagos.

We ran into so friends … be careful or they will snatch your food

It’s all green here !!

The lighting here is everything !!!

There are a bunch of really cute huts .. so feel free to bring a picnic. You will need the food after  all that walking …

After all that food it is obviously time for a game of life-size chess…  (to burn those calories)

See him planning how to destroy me …LOL

Finally, we stopped to feed the fishes

That was the end of my little day out 🙁

It’s always good to go out & get some fresh air especially if u live in a city. If you live in Lagos I would highly recommend checking this place out.

All my love Lydia xx
